General Market- Lumber mill holiday shutdowns tightened supply & moved some prices up. Pine plywood sales picked up as the week went on.  Fir plywood sales were steady but not spectacular.  OSB sales were steady.  OSB prices are flat.  Pine and fir plywood prices are also flat.

Spruce – Western Spruce lumber demand was just okay.  Prices: 2x4 +$4, 2x6 +$5, 2 x 8 Flat, 2 x 10 Flat, & 2 x 12 Flat/mbf. Eastern SPF sales were mixed with tighter supply coming out of shutdowns.   Prices: Flat to +$15/mbf.

DG/Portbec - Sales picked up and supply was limited. 2 x 4-2 x 6 r/l Prices: Flat to +$15/mbf, 2 x 8 Flat, 2 x 10 +$15/mbf.  Stud Prices: Flat to +$5 to +$15/mbf.  Some Lengths remain in tight supply! Mill is shipping w/o 1/26/26

Inland White Fir –White Fir sales picked up pushing prices up. 2 x 6 was the most active. Prices: +$5 to +$17/mbf.

Studs – Western Spruce stud demand picked up as well. Prices: +$5 to +$15/mbf. Eastern SPF stud sales were better too.  Prices: +$5 to +$10/mbf.    Fir Stud sales were better and supply tighter.  Prices: +$5 to +$15/mbf.           

            

Boards- Eastern Pine sales improved. Prices: Flat/mbf.

Treated: Treated Lumber prices rose again this week across the board +$15/m. We had a slower week on both direct and out-of-warehouse sales coming out of the holidays. Dealers seem to be going hand to mouth right now, with winter weather and related space issues. Things should pick up going through January. Lead times remain a week or sooner on directs.

 

OSB- OSB sales were steady and supply a bit tighter.  Prices: Flat/msf.

Southern Pine/Imported Plywood – Southern Pine Plywood activity improved.  Prices: Flat/msf.

​

Western Fir Plywood – Fir Plywood sales were steady. Prices: Flat/msf.
